This policy applies both to this website (https://reflexrivals.com) and to the REFLEX RIVALS mobile application (Android and iOS).

2. Core principle: your data is not a product

We do not use your data for commercial purposes. We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for advertising, and we do not build commercial profiles. Data is processed for one purpose only: letting you use the app with a verified account, preventing spam accounts and keeping rankings and challenges fair.

3. Data we process

3.1 In the app

  • Account data: when you sign in with Google or Apple we receive a user identifier and, depending on the provider, your name and email address. With Apple you can hide your real email using its private relay feature.
  • Game data: game results, reaction times, scores, statistics and the challenges you take part in.
  • Player name and public profile: the alias you choose, visible in rankings and challenges.

3.2 On this website

  • Anonymous usage data via Google Analytics, only if you accept cookies (see Cookie policy).

4. Purpose and legal basis

  • Creating and verifying your account (performance of contract — Art. 6.1.b GDPR): signing in with Google or Apple lets us link your results to a verified account.
  • Spam and abuse prevention (legitimate interest — Art. 6.1.f GDPR): account verification keeps bots and fake accounts out of the rankings.
  • Rankings, challenges and sync (performance of contract): your results are stored in the cloud so comparisons and friend challenges can work.
  • Anonymous website statistics (consent — Art. 6.1.a GDPR): only if you accept analytics cookies.

5. Sign-in with Google and Apple

The app uses third-party authentication services. When you use them, the corresponding provider processes your data under its own terms and policies:

From these providers we receive only the account identifier and, where applicable, name and email. We never access your contacts, files or any other data in your Google or Apple account.

We keep your data for as long as you keep your account. If you delete it, your personal data is erased; scores may be kept in anonymised form (no longer linked to you) so historical rankings are not distorted.

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability at any time by writing to manuel.losro@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD: aepd.es).

9. Account deletion

To delete your account and all associated data, write to manuel.losro@gmail.com from the email linked to your account.
